We're all just sitting here, birds on a wire
So sad we're sitting in fear with no fire
Lighting us up and letting us go
On with our lives, oh no! oh no!
We're all just sitting here, waiting to fly
But in our fear we've forgotten just why
Our wings won't work, even though they look strong
Each feather's there but something wrong
So wrong
Been far too long
With no voice... no song!
